Taxidermy Journal is the official blog of North American taxidermist CJ Herring. CJ has over 20 years in the field of taxidermy and is experienced in small game, whitetail deer, black bear, waterfowl, upland game birds and wild turkey taxidermy. He also has extensive experience in hide tanning and specializes in buckskin leather. Custom habitat scenes which include manmade rocks and tree limbs is another forte of his artistic abilities.  His studio is based in New York and prefers to call it his taxidermy lab.
